Itinerary

Welcome to Hanoi. Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is known for its centuries-old architecture and a rich culture with Southeast Asian, Chinese and French influences. At its heart is the chaotic Old Quarter, where the narrow streets are roughly arranged by trade. 

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to the hotel to early check in and have breakfast, then relax after a long flight.

 

Then, visit the Temple of Literature built in 1070 and regarded as the First University in Vietnam, the Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son temple and take the Cyclo tour at the Old Quarter to experience the exciting local daily life of Hanoians, shopping free around The Old Quarter that have stock of trendy to basic clothing and thousands of small craft and boutique shops offering variety of Vietnamese handicraft products. 

Enjoy the Water Puppet Show- A form of folk arts originating in the north of Vietnam, in which wood-puppets play their roles according to the direction of puppeteers and singers of Cheo (a kind of traditional theater in Vietnam) sing songs to tell the story in words. Overnight in Hanoi.

Trip starts from your hotel lobby for Ninh Binh province, which owns Hoa Lu and Tam Coc as the most favorite sightseeing of tourists from all over the world.

Upon arrival Ninh Binh, you will arrive at Hoa Lu Ancient Capital. In 968, Dinh Bo Linh declared himself as the King. Since then, Hoa Lu existed as the capital for the next 41 years (968 – 1009), of which 12 years was under the Dinh dynasty – King Dinh Tien Hoang, the country named Dai Co Viet, and 29 years later was under the Le dynasty – King Le Dai Hanh. The visit offers a chance to know more about part of feudal dynasties and historical periods in Vietnamese history.

In the afternoon, 5 minute-walk to the boat station and start the 2 hour-boat trip to visit Tam Coc. Known as “Halong Bay on land”, Tam Coc are three limestone caves stretching along Ngo Dong River. The boat trip is a nice journey along the river with peaceful scenery of Limestone Mountains, rice paddy and the site of some temples along the way from Hang Ca (first cave) to Hang Hai (second cave) and Hang Ba (third cave).

After having  breakfast, our driver will wait for you and then transfer you to Halong Bay. Then you will proceed to Halong Bay the World Heritage as designated by UNESCO in 1994.

Upon arrival in Halong, you will take a boat to discover the magnificent beauty of this “Descending-dragon” bay, created by thousands odd-shaped limestone rocks and small   island   grottoes. After a lunch of fresh seafood on board, we can visit the Surprising Grotto, stop for swimming or kayaking, passing floating   villages   and approach    small  island   to  enjoy their beauty. Back to the boat for dinner. Evening attend activities on the boat or relax at your own leisure.

You should wake up early to enjoy the dawn on the sea in the early morning. The Vietnamese call the "East Sea" by a point-oriented name "Eastern Sea", so you may guess how miraculous seeing the sunrise over the islets of the Bay. 

 

After breakfast our boat will continue to cruise in marvelous areas, where almost each islet has its own name, adopting its shape or reminiscent like Sail Island, Fisherman’s head rock, Butterfly rock or Turtle islet etc.  Check out your room and have brunch on board while the cruise coming back the pier. Arrive BaNa Hills, take cable car - opened on 29 March 2013, holds the world record for longest non-stop single track cable car at 5,801 metres (19,032 ft) in length. 

You can enjoy nature with open space: visiting Nai Stream, Rainbow Falls, Linh Ung pagoda, visiting monuments outdoor, opera house French Village, Linh Ung pagoda, Golden bridge, Flower Garden..... Free time to play at Fantasy Park (some game fees will be paid by yourselves).

Then our guide and driver will wait for you and transfer to Hoi an Ancient town. Both Hoi An’s old town and countryside are stunning, and this day tour allows travelers to understand better about both. In the morning, different slices of rural life are in turn introduced.

Then, you will visit Marble Moutain and MonkeyMoutain. Marble Moutain known as Ngu Hanh Son which is the group of five hills made of limestone and marble which represent five elements in Oriental philosophy. It is home to several Buddhist and Hindu grottoes. It offers several pagodas, caves, many stairs and the gorgeous panoramic view.

 

Visit Am Phu cave – a replica of heaven and hell. You can discover the impressive stalactites and stalagmites featuring the Buddhist perception of hell or purgatory in here.

The Monkey Mountain is located on peninsula, just 10 km from Da Nang city. You can enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the mountains and Da Nang city from here. Monkey Mountain is also home to the famous pagoda, Lady Buddha. If you are lucky enough, you might also come across some of the mountain’s living residents, the monkeys!

Then you will have a short relax and tranfer to airport for flight back home.
